St. Anthony’s Catholic Church was filled beyond capacity as mourners gathered for Katie Lynn O’Keefe’s memorial service on Friday, June 23, in Casper.

O’Keefe was killed on June 16 when the truck she was riding in was struck by an SUV that drifted into the wrong lane. The vehicles were engulfed in flames. A mother and her three adolescent children also died in the accident.

O’Keefe was a first-grade teacher at Southridge Elementary School. Her colleagues sat together at her service wearing blue shirts with the school’s logo in her honor.

Mourners attending the service filled the seats and lined up along the walls of the church, leaving lines stretching to the outside church steps.
