A special meeting of the Casper City Council, originally announced on Tuesday, August 29th, to be held today, August 30th, will not be held after all.
The Special council meeting was announced, originally, just after 6:00 pm on Tuesday. The Casper City Council did meet on Tuesday, first taking a tour of the old Plains Furniture building, to see yet another historic facade that’s been discovered within the interior of the building. Â This is the second such historic facade to be found inside, this year.
Council then held an executive work session meeting, closed to the public and to media. Â According to an agenda, the items discussed during the executive session included “Personnel and Litigation.”
A proposed agenda for the cancelled Wednesday night meeting had not been made available before the cancellation was announced.
The next meeting of Council will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 6:00 pm in the Council Chambers. This is a regularly scheduled meeting and officials say that the the agenda and packet materials for the September 5th meeting will be available on or around Friday, the 1st of September.
