The City Council approved several more of its advisory board and commission appointments at the Tuesday, Feb. 5 Council meeting. The Council previously filled most of its appointments but had several outstanding.
“The boards and commissions are a vital link of communication between citizens and the City Council, City departments, and City administration,” a memo from City Manager J. Carter Napier reads. “These bodies provide experience and knowledge that help the City Council and administrative departments make wise decisions.”
