The Kelly Walsh Theatre Department will stage five performances of “Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat” according to a NCSD press release. Opening night will be Feb. 22 with shows on Feb. 23, Feb. 28, March 1 and March 2.

The staging of the Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice musical will star Kelly Walsh students Andrew Brown as Joseph with Laurel Hodgson and Jaydin Hardy as narrators, the release says.

“Audiences will enjoy an engaging crazy quilt of musical styles, from country-western to calypso and bubble-gum pop to rock ‘n’ roll,” states the release. “The production includes the popular songs ‘Go, Go, Go Joseph’ and ‘Any Dream Will Do,’ performed by an all-star cast along with over 20 children selected from local schools.”
