CASPER, Wyo. — Police say that they are in contact with a driver who is accused of fleeing the scene of a vehicle vs. pedestrian collision, outside of a Casper bar.
The identity of the driver has not yet been released, but Casper Police Department spokesperson Rebekah Ladd says that the incident occurred during the early morning hours on August 10, 2019.
Ladd says that two pedestrians were crossing the street near the intersection of Ash and Midwest Streets. One of the pedestrians, identified as a female, was allegedly hit by a truck, before the vehicle fled the scene.

Police spoke with witnesses and were able to ascertain a vehicle description and eventually met up with the driver.
The investigation is ongoing, however an arrest or citation had not been made as of 10:00 am, August 10.
The injured woman was transported to an area hospital with undisclosed injuries. Police officials did not give the woman’s condition.
