CASPER, Wyo. – City of Casper crews were out on Wednesday hanging Christmas lights on downtown trees.

The decking of downtown streets usually starts this time of year while the weather is still favorable. The deadline for complete installation is November 18.

The City of Casper provides the labor while downtown merchants provide the lights.

Pedestrians out after sundown last night got to see a festive preview as the lights were fired up and tested. They won’t be officially turned on until later next month.
