Equipping 11 Casper police cars with in-car/body cam systems to cost $131,782.53

CASPER, Wyo. — 11 Casper police cars are set to be equipped with in-car and officer body video camera systems and networking equipment.

The technology will cost the City of Casper $131,782.53.

The city council approved a contract with PCN Strategies, Inc. to provide the technology systems for that amount during their Tuesday, Feb. 4 meeting.

The video equipment is created by a company called Getac.

Funding will come from the Casper Police Department’s fleet budget.
