New taxicab company gets license to operate in Casper

CASPER, Wyo. — A new taxi service is set to being operating in Casper.

“Oil City Cabs” (not affiliated with Oil City News) will receive a taxicab company license. The city council approved the company’s application during their Tuesday, Feb. 4 meeting.

The application for the license was submitted by Adesta Spier, according to the city. The company’s office will be located in a residentially zoned area.

Community Development Department staff reviewed the application and found that it met requirements under Casper law.

Oil City Cabs has had their public liability insurance verified by the city.

The cab license costs $65.
