Tune is as Casper City Council discuss property taxes, pet laws

CASPER, Wyo. — The Casper City Council are set to hold a work session beginning at 4:30 pm Tuesday, June 23.

Two main topics of discussion are listed on the agenda for the work session. The council are set to hear from Natrona County Assessor Matt Keating regarding property assessments. While the county determines such property assessments, the City of Casper have received multiple complaints from citizens regarding the valuations of their properties.

The council are also set to discuss proposed changes to the city’s animal care and control ordinance which have been recommended by animal protection officers.
