Fort Caspar Museum has announced that they’re resuming the normal summer schedule and “now open to greet both out-of-town travelers and members of our community seven days a week.”
The announcement was sent in a written statement from museum officials, Monday.
“Guidelines remain in place to protect visitors and staff, such as requesting face coverings and social distancing, and hours have been modified to allow for additional cleaning,” the statement says. “The general public is welcome from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm daily.”

The museum will also reserve an hour each morning from 9:00 am to 10:00 am for high-risk visitors only.
Group sizes at the museum are going to be limited to 25 people. While Fort Caspar Museum is open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm daily, staff notes that the fort buildings close a half hour earlier at 4:30 pm.
“Sadly, all of our summer events have been cancelled, however we are still accepting indoor and outdoor facility rentals, as long as they comply with current guidelines,” museum staff said.
