VIDEO: Tune in as Casper City Council considers First Street Gateway grant, funding for ‘Proud to Host the Best’ and more

CASPER, Wyo. — The Casper City Council are set to hold a regular meeting starting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, November 16 at Casper City Hall.

During the meeting, the council will consider approving a new liquor license for the House of Sushi in downtown Casper. The council will also consider accepting a grant to support the First Street Gateway Project, which aims to build a riverfront park near First Street.

The council will also decide whether to commit to providing $50,000 per year over the next four years to the “Proud to Host the Best Committee” that works to ensure Casper is able to host Wyoming high school sports tournaments.

In addition, the council will consider authorizing a contract to have lighting replaced at ball fields in Casper. They’ll also consider an amendment to a contract with Stateline No. 7 Architects for designs of renovations to City Hall.
