CASPER, Wyo. — Hogadon Basin Ski Area will officially open on Wednesday, December 22, the City of Casper announced on Friday.
Lifts will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on opening day, according to the announcement.

When Hogadon initially opens, the Boomerang run will be open.
“Hogadon will be open daily from December 26 to Sunday, January 1,” the city said. “Depending on snow conditions, the area plans to offer night skiing on New Year’s Eve and Day. Hogadon will be updating its website (www.hogadon.net) daily, so visitors should check hours before heading to the ski area.”
“The area will open with one run, Boomerang, and day lift tickets will be discounted to $32 until more runs are open. Christmas Eve hours are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Hogadon will be closed on Christmas Day.
