CASPER, Wyo. — An interruption to non-emergency City of Casper phone lines Thursday afternoon was caused by a phone line being cut during standard maintenance to utility lines, a city release said.
Service was restored around 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
“We appreciate the public’s patience through the outage, and our City employees are happy to be talking to our residents over phonelines again,” City of Casper Public Information Officer Rachel Bouzis said.
The city credits Lumen Technologies technicians with quickly responding to repair the issue.
