Fort Caspar offering free summer admission to military families as a Blue Star Museum

CASPER, Wyo. — Fort Caspar Museum will again offer free admission to active duty military personnel and their families this summer as a Blue Star Museum.

Free admission for military families starts on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 21, and runs through Labor Day, Sept. 5, according to the museum. The Blue Star Museum program includes over 2,000 museums across the country and is a collaboration between the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families and the Department of Defense.

Free admission is available to active members of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Reserves, National Guard, U.S. Public Health Commissioned Corps and the NOAA Commissioned Corps. Up to five family members of active duty military personnel are eligible for free admission.

Fort Caspar’s summer hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. The museum is at 4001 Fort Caspar Road in Casper.
