Casper Fire-EMS celebrates 17 promoted firefighters at first ceremony in over two years

CASPER, Wyo. — The City of Casper Fire-EMS Department held a ceremony on Wednesday to recognize a number of firefighters who have received promotions since fall 2019.

The 17 firefighters recognized on Wednesday have together provided over 150 years of service for the City of Casper, Interim Fire Chief Jacob Black said during Wednesday’s ceremony at Fire Station 3, according to a Thursday announcement from the department.

“Thank you for all your devotion to the protection of our great community,” the fire department said.

An additional 16 firefighters who have received promotions since 2020 will be recognized at a second ceremony that will take place at 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 20 at Fire Station 3, 2140 E. 12th St.
