CASPER, Wyo. — Fort Caspar Museum is seeking vendors for Caspar Collins Day 2022.

Casper is named, albeit with slightly altered spelling, after Lt. Caspar Collins, who was killed at the Battle of Platte Bridge Station in 1865. The 2022 Caspar Collins Day will take place “rain or shine” from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 23, according to the museum.

Craft and food vendors, including food trucks, can apply for a 10-by-10-foot space at Caspar Collins Day for $30. Nonprofits are able to participate for free.

“If you would like to set up a booth or park a food truck near all the family fun at the fort, please join us,” Fort Caspar Museum’s press release said.

Applications can be found online and are due by Thursday, July 21. Applications are also available at the museum or by emailing aholman@casperwy.gov. People with questions can also call the museum at 307-235-8462.

Fort Caspar is located at 4001 Fort Caspar Road in Casper.
