CASPER, Wyo. — The City of Casper announced on Friday afternoon that its website, casperwy.gov, is down due to technical difficulties.

“We understand this is frustrating for our community members, and we apologize for the inconvenience,” Rachel Bouzis, public information officer for the City of Casper, said.

People are still able to make bill payments and pay court fines, parking tickets and permit and licensing fees via the free Connect Casper app, the city said. People can download the app for Apple or Android devices using Google Play or the App Store.

“We hope the public will use this opportunity to download our app, since it’s intuitive, robust, easy to use and remains fully functional through the website outage,” Bouzis said.

While the website is down, City of Casper phonelines remain operational and buildings are still open during normal business hours. The city will provide an update when the website issues are fixed.
