CASPER, Wyo. — The Casper Children’s Theatre will host its first-ever dinner theatre fundraiser this Saturday, Nov. 19, with its performance of “Footloose, Jr.”

According to a release, the play is directed by CY Middle School teachers Audrey Egan and Dominique Simmons and is based on the classic 1980s movie-musical “Footloose.”

“The CCT is theatre education at its finest, teaching kids of all ages and backgrounds the fundamentals of theatre,” said Egan in the release.

Theatre organizers plan on using money raised by the dinner theatre show to buy professional wireless body mics, a piece of technology that is now ubiquitous in modern live performance. “Body mics will ensure that every audience member is able to hear even our quietest performers throughout the theatre,” said Egan.
