City buying 70 new carts for Casper Municipal Golf Course for ~$399K

CASPER, Wyo. — The City of Casper will be replacing its fleet of golf carts at the Casper Municipal Golf Course.

On Tuesday, the Casper City Council voted 7–0 to authorize the purchase of the 70 new carts from Colorado Golf and Turf for $398,685. The city received three bids to replace its current fleet of seventy 2018 Yamaha golf carts that have reached their five-year end of lease and warranty period, according to a memo from city staff.

Colorado Golf and Turf’s $398,685 bid is to provide 70 Club Car Tempo’s carts. Nebraska-based Masek Distribution provided a $436,450 bid to provide 70 Yamaha AFI golf carts. Georgia-based EZ-GO Division submitted a $487,639.62 bid to provide 70 new EZ-GO RXV EX1 carts, the staff memo added.

The fiscal year 2023 budget includes money allocated for the purchase of the new golf carts out of the city’s Opportunity Fund. The full staff memo can be reviewed below:
