CASPER, Wyo. — On Tuesday, the Casper City Council will consider authorizing an agreement between the City of Casper and Natrona County for the transfer of land to facilitate the construction of a new Casper-Natrona County Health Department facility.

The City of Casper is planning to transfer about eight acres of land at the northeast corner of 12th Street and Conwell to Natrona County. The county has received some American Rescue Plan Act funding via a State of Wyoming ARPA funding distribution program to support construction of the new Casper-Natrona Health Center.

During its regular meeting Tuesday, the City Council will also consider its annual renewal of liquor licenses for businesses that are seeking renewal of the licenses they hold.

The City Council will also consider an amendment related to the City Hall renovation project, the submission of an application for a loan to support a project to repair the roof at the Casper Family Aquatic Center and the purchase of several vehicles for Police, Fire and other city departments, among other items during the meeting.

The regular meeting is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall, 200 N. David St. The City Council is expected to hold a pre-meeting work session starting at 5:15 p.m.
