The Wyoming Medical Center Volunteers have announced a unique event in conjunction with the 2017 solar eclipse.
Steve Frame and his Western Rebels will be on hand for an eclipse viewing party, “Rock the Rooftop.” Attendees will be able to view the eclipse from the roof of the Wyoming Medical Center’s west parking garage while experiencing live music, food, kids’ karaoke, Safe Kids activities and more.
According to an announcement on the WMC website, there will be an eclipse expert on site to walk people the “big event.”
Tickets are $10 and include viewing glasses, concert, an eclipse map and a bottle of water. Tailgating packages are $120 and include 10 event passes and a reserved spot for viewing. Proceeds benefit the WMC Volunteers Caring Closet Program which provides clothing for patients who need them for discharge.
Tickets may be purchased in the Cottage Gift Shop, at the Wyoming Medical Center.
