(Casper, Wyo.) The Wyoming Eclipse Festival and Oil City News want families in Wyoming to take the Eclipse Cowboy logo on a wild ride across Casper to be entered into a contest via social media for four tickets to Dinner and Discussion with Astronauts Jack Schmitt and Jim Reilly.
To participate, download and print the Eclipse Cowboy coloring sheet at EclipseCasper.com. From there, the possibilities are as wide open as the Wyoming sky. To enter, customize your cowboy, then consider him your family’s first Eclipse visitor and show him the sites! Take him to the waterfall at Rotary Park, boating at Alcova Lake or shopping in Downtown Casper. Wherever your adventures take you, snap a photo with your Eclipse Cowboy, then upload it to your Facebook page using #eclipsecowboy, tagging Wyoming Eclipse Festival and Oil City News. You must do all three to enter, but you may submit as many photos as you’d like!
The contest opens Thursday, July 20 and concludes Friday, Aug. 4. Though only one winner will be randomly selected to win four tickets to the once-in-a-lifetime dinner and discussion event, the Wyoming Eclipse Festival and Oil City will use these photos throughout the Eclipse Festival as recommendations for visitors on the best Casper activities.
Dinner and Discussion with Astronauts Jack Schmitt and Jim Reilly is presented by the American Association of Petroleum Geologists Friday, Aug. 18 at the Casper Country Club. Tickets are available to purchase here.
