CASPER, Wyo. — On Monday, the Natrona County School District Board of Trustees awarded a contract to Casper-based HiTek Communications Inc. to replace the intercom system at Oregon Trail Elementary School.
HiTek’s $84,973 bid was the lower of two received by the school district, according to a memo from Superintendent Mike Jennings. The other bid to replace the intercom was a $111,490 bid from Casper-based Alliance Communications and Technologies.
“The Board of Trustees approved this project as part of the NCSD Facility Plan,” Jennings’s memo added. “The Wyoming School Facilities Department approved the use of Major Maintenance Funds for this project.”
