CASPER, Wyo. — This year, the Casper Area Education Foundation has awarded three $2,000 scholarships to outstanding seniors who have demonstrated exceptional academic excellence and dedication to expanding their educational journey through extracurricular activities and community involvement.
In addition, three Academic Perseverance Scholarships were awarded to graduating seniors who have demonstrated academic or personal growth and exhibited extraordinary perseverance while working toward graduation.
Recipients of both scholarships also demonstrated a thoughtful plan for their future and a hope of giving back to their community, a news release states.
The mission of the Casper Area Education Foundation is to partner with the Natrona County community to invest financial and volunteer resources in children’s futures.
“Over the years, we’ve been incredibly fortunate to support students on their next steps after graduation, whether attending a university, college, trade school, military academy, or a study abroad educational opportunity. In total, the Casper Area Education Foundation has provided over $77,200 in scholarships to students in Natrona County,” the organization’s release states.
Additionally, the CAEF oversees over 20 outside scholarships in honor and memory of families or individuals.
“We are fortunate to live in a community that continues to support education and provides opportunities for young people to pursue their educational journey and dreams,” the release says.
The following are CAEF Trustee Scholarship Recipients:

- Hailey Willis: Casper Area Education Foundation Trustee Scholarship
- Nolan Hornecker: Casper Area Education Foundation Trustee Scholarship
- Grace Jenkins: Casper Area Education Foundation Perseverance Scholarship
- Caitlyn Wise: Casper Area Education Foundation Perseverance Scholarship
- Kaden Pharr: Casper Area Education Foundation Perseverance Scholarship
The Casper Area Education Foundation was established in 1973 and benefits the children of the Natrona County School District. Through the generosity and donations of local businesses, civic organizations and individuals, it is able to continue to assist students as they pursue higher education.
