CASPER, Wyo. — The Casper Area Chamber of Commerce is inviting candidates and voters to a 4–6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11 “Politics on the Platte” event.
Politics on the Platte will give voters the chance to meet one-on-one with local and statewide political candidates. The event will be held at the Tate Pumphouse, 1775 W. 1st St. in Casper.
Gruner Brothers Brewing and the Here to Help Foundation of Wyoming will offer food and beverages for purchase.
The general public can attend the Politics on the Platte event for free, according to the Casper Area Chamber of Commerce.
Candidates wanting to participate in the Politics on the Platte event can register by contacting the Casper Area Chamber of Commerce at 307-234-5311 or by emailing Darcie Holscher at email@example.com. Candidates who are members of the Casper Area Chamber of Commerce need to pay a $75 registration fee. Candidates who are not members need to pay a $125 fee.
Candidate fees will include a dinner ticket and a table for promotional materials, including yard signs. Additional attendees accompanying candidates are a $25 fee.
