Being successful into adulthood means understanding how to responsibly manage personal finances. To help ensure youngsters can form sound financial management skills and habits that will last a lifetime, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming is teaching members about dollars and cents, budgeting, and needs and wants through Junior Achievement Financial Literacy programming.
On August 7, 8, and 9, members from six BGCCW sites will participate in a Financial Literacy Carnival to put these lessons to use. Area banks, credit unions and investment companies will provide fun, hands-on experiences with booths and interactive games. The Carnival will be held at the Financial Literacy Center located at 910 Barbara Street (south of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming Main Club) in Casper.
Morning sessions run 9:30 – 11 a.m. and afternoon sessions run 1:30 – 3 p.m. each day of the Carnival.
