The sounds, sights and flavors of Mexico will grace the David Street Station outdoor plaza on Saturday afternoon.
The first ever FiestaWyo Festival is scheduled to start on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. and run through 9:30 p.m.
“We are encouraging the community to come out and celebrate diversity and culture with this Hispanic festival with everything from traditional to contemporary and educational to entertaining,” said a press release from the Downtown Development Authority.

The festival kicks off with a showing of the acclaimed Disney/Pixar feature “Coco” played on the big screen starting at 2:00.
At 4:00 Mariachi 307 from Cheyenne will perform traditional mariachi music on the stage. The group will play more sets through the afternoon.
Other highlights include traditional folkloric dancers and vendors selling items, food and beer, and a jalapeño eating contest starting 6:00.
In addition, the UW vs Missouri game will be on the big screen after “Coco”, and the Santana tribute band Soul Sacrifice will take the stage at 8:00.
