Saturday ‘Afternoon on the Green’ at David Street Station starts St. Patrick’s Day early

David Street Station announced an “Afternoon on the Green” event set to go from 12-3 p.m. Saturday, March 16. The event is to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day which doesn’t officially occur until Sunday.

David Street Station Event Coordinator Julie Schmitt said in a Friday press release that “Afternoon on the Green” will feature corned beef hash and cabbage provided by Grab and Go Gourmet. Green beer and other drinks will also be available.

Performances kick off at 1 p.m. with the Casper Professional Firefighter Pipes and Drum. The Richens/Timm Irish Dance Group’s performance will follow that at 2 p.m., according to the release.

St. Patrick’s Day craft stations for kids will also be going.

“Don’t forget to wear your grean this Saturday,” the release says.
