Fort Caspar Museum has announced its schedule for the spring/summer Lunch and Learn program.
In a press release, the museum says Wyoming’s former Assistant State Archeologist Danny Walker will present “Recent Discoveries at the Red Butte Site” on Saturday, June 1st, from noon to 2 p.m.
The graves of Caspar Collins and Supply Sargent Amos Custard and his men were never found after they were killed on July 26, 1865, according to the release.

Recent archaeology “has revealed some interesting material that may finally hold some answers,” said the release.
An optional lunch will be served at noon, followed by a lecture at 1 p.m. Reservations for lunch, which will feature a buffet of fried chicken, sides, rolls, desserts and beverages, are required by May 29th.
Cost for lunch is $5 for FCMA members and $8 for non-members. The lecture is free for museum members and paid admission.
