Water at the David Street Station splash pad started flowing at 10 a.m. on Saturday, kicking off the 2019 summer season at the outdoor public plaza.

The splash pad will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. through the season.

The Downtown Development Authority, which manages the plaza, released a listing of reoccurring events scheduled for the public space.

Beginning this Tuesday, June 4th, David Street Station will be hosting the Food for Thought Summer Markets sponsored by WCDA! This event will take place every Tuesday throughout the summer from 5:00pm-8:00pm. There will be a wide variety of vendors selling their locally homemade and homegrown goods. These goods include, but are not limited to, fresh produce, dairy products, farm fresh eggs, local meats, baked goods, body care products, home decor, locally roasted coffee and much more!

Join us for live music and a good laugh as part of the thriving art scene in Casper… the Art Walk is back! We are so excited to kick off another summer of Art Walks at David Street Station starting on June 6th from 5:00- 8:00pm. Our stage will host comedian Andrew Stanley and local musician Zack Schommer so come down and enjoy the shows!       

Enjoy a night at the movies… outside at David Street Station! This Friday, June 7th, the film Moana will be showing on the lawn. The family friendly film will be starting at 7:00pm and is sure to bring laughs to the whole crowd. Come early with your camp chairs and blankets to claim your spot before the show begins!

Beginning on Monday, June 10th, Lunch on the Lawn, presented by Casper College will be happening weekly from 12:00-1:00pm at David Street Station. Grab & Go Gourmet will be on site offering delicious $6 and $10 lunch options every Monday for you to enjoy! We’re teaming up with local organizations to offer different youth activities and performances each week. This week’s activities for the kids include a GIANT map from National Geographic that is paired with games and activities, plus the Natrona County Library BookMobile!

Time to break a sweat at David Street Station! In proud partnership with the YMCA, our Wellness Wednesday fitness classes are starting on Wednesday, June 12th. We will be offering a morning class as well as an afternoon class.

The first class of the day will be held from 6:00-7:00am. Participants will enjoy HIIT, a class designed around strength training but with a HIIT focus. High intensity interval training will give you the most out of your 60 minutes. 

Our afternoon class will be held from 1:00-2:00pm and is designed for the kiddos! Kids POUND® allows the child to become the music in this exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates inspired movements. Using Ripstix® lightly weighted drumsticks, POUND® transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out.
