Friends of the Library accepting reservations for summer book sales

CASPER, Wyo. — The Friends of the Natrona County Library is accepting reservations for its “Summer Bag Sale” that will take place June 9–11 at the library, 307 E. 2nd St. in Casper.

“Our community has been very generous and we have an excellent selection of items in all areas,” Thursday’s announcement states. “We continue to have a great number of donations arriving daily. You should not be disappointed. We hope to see you at the sale.”

People wanting to find some books for summer reading have the following options:

  • Thursday, June 9: Early Bird sale
    • $20 admission fee for a two-hour session
  • Friday, June 10: Second Chance
    • $10 admission fee for a two-hour session
  • Saturday, June 11
    • No admission fee for a one-hour session

Those wanting to attend the sales need to register a spot online in advance. Admission fees for the Early Bird and Second Chance sales can be paid at the door.

“All purchases during the sale will be at bag sale pricing with bags priced at $3, $6, and $10 for a nice library bag and books to fill it,” the Friends of the Library said. “There is no limit to the number of bags purchased.”
