Wyoming Rescue Mission hosting graduation ceremony for 26 people in Discipleship Recovery Program

CASPER, Wyo. — The Wyoming Rescue Mission will be hosting a graduation ceremony at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 23 to recognize 26 people who are graduating from different phases of its “Discipleship Recovery Program.”

Five people will graduate from the final phase of the program, eight will graduate from the second phase, and 13 will graduate from the first phase, according to the mission. The year-long program aims to help people address drug or alcohol issues and get referrals for medical, emotional or psychological needs.

Participants of the program are offered transitional housing, according to the mission.

Thursday’s ceremony is open to the public and will be held at the mission’s Park Street Center, 230 N. Park St. in Casper.
