CASPER, Wyo. — A line of children excitedly wait to get their face painted; a few feet away, others take turns petting ponies, goats and llamas; and nearby, several more play a super-sized game of bowling as hundreds of families enjoy the Natrona County 4-H Club Carnival.

The carnival, held at the Natrona County Fairgrounds Industrial Building, offers a multitude of games, activities, food, prizes and more.

“Every single club that we have puts on a booth with a fun game or activity,” 4-H Club program associate Josh Bliss said. “There’s a little bit of everything here, so hopefully there are things everyone can enjoy.”

In total, Bliss said, there are 14 booths at today’s carnival.

The carnival also serves as a fundraiser for the program, with money raised going back into the club.

“We do a lot of programs throughout the year, and so this helps us sustain that and keeps us going,” Bliss said.

The carnival will run until 4 p.m. today.
