CASPER, Wyo. — The Tate Geological Museum is hosting a free “Dino Dash” fun run on Saturday, June 10 at 10 a.m.
The Dino Dash is for children ages 12 and under and will feature prizes for the best dinosaur costume, best-dressed dog, and best-decorated scooter or bike, the museum said on social media. Dalene Hodnett, director of museums, said the short trek will culminate with cupcakes.
“We’re excited to see the community turn out in their best dinosaur fashions,” Hodnett said. “Here’s another chance to use that Halloween costume and possibly win a gift card to a local retailer. Kids, dogs and bikes are all welcome!”
Dino Dash will begin at the Tate, located on the southern end of the Casper College campus, near the life-sized T. rex bronze.
