CASPER, Wyo. — Walmart stores in Wyoming will be participating in the company’s “Wellness Day” activities on Saturday, September 25.
People in Wyoming can visit Walmart pharmacies for a variety of free or affordable immunizations throughout the day. Walmart will be offering the following types of immunizations, among others:
- Free COVID-19 vaccines
- Flu shots
- Measles vaccines
- Mumps shots
- Rubella (MMR) immunizations
- Varicella (chicken pox) vaccines
- HPV vaccines
- Tetanus shots
- Whooping cough (TDAP) shots
Customers can walk-in in order to receive immunizations. Insurance is not required for COVID-19 vaccines.
“As the country continues to make health and safety a top priority in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and with the anticipation of a busy flu season, Walmart is focused on providing accessible and affordable immunizations and vaccines for customers,” a press release announcing the event states.
The Wyoming Department of Health provides COVID-19 case, variant, death, testing, hospital and vaccine data online. The department also shares information about how the data can be interpreted. COVID-19 safety recommendations are available from the CDC.
