CASPER, Wyo. — Wyoming has 305 new lab confirmed COVID-19 cases since Tuesday’s update, according to the Wyoming Department of Health (WDH).
On Wednesday, the WDH said the total number of active cases number was 2,413, with 4,037 lab-confirmed cases within the past 14 days. Some 79,476 total cases have been recorded since the start of the pandemic last year.
There have been 135 new probable cases since Tuesday’s update.
A total of 76,158 cases have recovered since the pandemic started.
There are a total of 219 COVID-19 patients hospitalized in Wyoming as of Wednesday. Most cases continue to be in Wyoming’s largest hospitals, with 31 at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center and 58 at the Wyoming Medical Center.
Twenty patients are in the ICU at the WMC, with one ICU bed open on Wednesday.
