Cher concert in Casper postponed due to COVID-19

CASPER, Wyo. — Cher had been set to perform in Casper on April 24. But that concert has been postponed until Oct. 4. The postponement comes as concerns about COVID-19 coronavirus spread.

“With deep regret, CHER has announced the postponement of all concerts on the “Here We Go Again Tour” effective immediately,” the Casper Events Center said on Thursday, March 12. “This includes the Casper, Wyoming performance originally scheduled for April 24th which will now be held on October 4th.”

Tickets which have been purchase will be honored for the rescheduled date. Other ticket inquiries should be directed to the place they were purchased.

“’I’m heartbroken, but the health of my fans and my touring family comes first,'” Cher said. “‘The shows have been really special but, nothing is more important than everybody’s safety. I’m excited to see everyone when we’re back out on the road.'”

The Wyoming Department of Health provides COVID-19 case, variant, death, testing, hospital and vaccine data online. The department also shares information about how the data can be interpreted. COVID-19 safety recommendations are available from the CDC.
