CASPEr,Wyo. — Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon announced on Thursday, April 22 that Taiwan has donated 50,000 medical masks to Wyoming.
“I want to thank Director General Alex Fan of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) for the donation of 50,000 medical face masks from Taiwan to Wyoming,” Gordon said.
Masks and other personal protective equipment have been lacking in not only Wyoming but across the country amid the outbreak of COVID-19.

“We will be distributing those masks soon to where they are needed most,” Gordon said. “We thank the people of Taiwan for their support of Wyoming as we respond to COVID-19 and protect lives while easing restrictions on businesses.”
The Wyoming Department of Health provides COVID-19 case, variant, death, testing, hospital and vaccine data online. The department also shares information about how the data can be interpreted. COVID-19 safety recommendations are available from the CDC.
