WDH adds 27 new lab-confirmed COVID cases, 1 death on Thursday

CASPER, Wyo. – The Wyoming Department of Health added 27 new lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 during their daily update on Thursday afternoon.

The total number of lab-confirmed cases stand at 2,627, with 492 listed as probable cases.

In a release on Thursday afternoon, the WDH says a man from Big Horn County who was hospitalized in another state has died from COVID-19. The release says he was older and suffered from underlying health issues known to put people at risk from the virus.

The latest death puts Wyoming’s total COVID-19 death rate at 30.
