Wyoming reports 528 new lab confirmed COVID cases


CASPER, Wyo. — The Wyoming Department of Health is reporting 528 new lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 since yesterday.

In Thursday’s update, the WDH says the state has 2,977 laboratory confirmed active cases, with a total of 17,078 probable cases. The number of new probable cases since yesterday is 114.

The WDH says 69,731 lab confirmed cases have recovered, and 15,880 probable cases have recovered since the start of the pandemic. Wyoming’s death count stands at 996.

As of Wednesday, the Wyoming Medical Center is reporting only three adult ICU beds available, with 22 occupied. There are 39 COVID patients in the WMC.

Wyoming’s second-largest hospital, the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, has just two adult ICU beds available. They’re reporting 36 COVID patients.
