CASPER, Wyo. — Free COVID booster shots will be available this Saturday to anyone over the age of 18 who received their second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine at least six months ago.

Anyone who has received Johnson & Johnson within the last two months is eligible to receive a booster.

The Casper-Natrona County Health Department is hosting the event at the Central Wyoming Fairgrounds Saturday, December 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It is an indoor event (not drive-up).

5- to 11-year-olds can receive their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine.

“All brands are approved, and whichever type of vaccine you want to get is the best kind for you, so mix and match your boosters,” organizers said.

Additional Details:

  • Bring ID, vaccine card, insurance info if you have it
  • First come, first serve – no appointments or waitlists
  • All vaccines and boosters are available at the CNCHD clinic on a walk-in basis, but COVID vaccine appointments are not available, so plan at least an hour for your visit
  • Flu shots are currently unavailable. The CNCHD stated they will update this event if/when they get more supplies
