CASPER, Wyo. — All hunting and fishing licensing systems through the Wyoming Game and Fish Department are offline, but they are expected to be back up later this weekend, the department says.

The shutdown started at 7 a.m., per Game and Fish, signaling a temporary pause on residents’ ability to purchase hunting or fishing licenses, permits, and stamps from any license-selling agent in Wyoming or directly from the WGFD.

Game and Fish must shut down the licensing system every year for annual testing and anticipates the systems will be back up and running on Sunday, July 10, per a July 8 notice.
