Rain and snow dampens Casper weekend, will continue through week

The soggy springtime weather made for chilled outdoor activities this weekend in Natrona County.

The National Weather Service in River has a hazardous weather outlook for the area on Sunday, with snow accumulating in the mountains.

Light snow stuck to the ground overnight in Casper, with the airport recording less than half an inch total.

Temperatures dipped to 29 degrees overnight, and are expected to hit the middle 30s tonight.

Highs today are predicted to hit the low-50s, with rain and snow mixed again tonight.

That pattern is expected to repeat throughout the week through Friday according to the National Weather Service.
