CASPER, Wyo. – Large snowflakes are drifting through the air in Casper as a fall snowstorm moves its way through the state on Sunday.
According to the National Weather Service in Riverton, snowfall started last night and has picked up throughout the morning.
A winter weather advisory is in effect through 6 p.m. as snow and wind gusts up to 40 mph are expected, making for difficult driving conditions around central and northern Wyoming.

A high of 38 degrees is expected, with lows dipping to 25 degrees tonight.
The weather will clear by Monday with a high of 45 degrees, but more snowy weather is predicted by midweek.
