Snow continues this afternoon, clear skies and cold temperatures this week

CASPER, Wyo. —  A 50 percent chance of snow continues into this afternoon, after the morning hours already saw significant snowfall in Casper and Natrona County. Mostly cloudy conditions expected to continue, with a temperature falling to around 15 by 5:00 pm, according to the National Weather Service.

Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Tonight, look for a 20 percent chance of snow before midnight, mostly cloudy, with a low around 8. Wind chill values as low as zero. C

Thursday is shaping up to be mostly sunny, with a high near 26. Wind chill values as low as zero. Southwest wind 6 to 9 mph. For Thursday night, the forecast calls for mostly clear conditions, and a low around 21. South southwest wind 10 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Friday, look for sunny skies, with a high near 34. Southwest wind 11 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Friday night is predicted to be partly cloudy, with a low around 18. Southwest wind 8 to 10 mph.
