CASPER, Wyo. — Officials with the University of Wyoming Police Department are reminding Wyoming residents and visitors to clear off any snow or ice that might obstruct your view while driving.
The UWPD shared a video on Facebook that showed a collision between two cars, one vehicle driving, the other parked.
“Wintery weather seems to be here to stay. For those driving vehicles we encourage the following: slow down and be careful on slick roads, be on the lookout for pedestrians, and clear your windshields of ice and snow before driving,” UW PD said in the video description. “The driver [in] this video did not adequately clean their windshield which resulted in the crash […]. The crash resulted in substantial damage to both vehicles as well as fines for the driver.”
