Power is out to more than 9,550 people in Laramie on Tuesday morning after an unusual June storm brought heavy snow overnight.
According to Rocky Mountain Power’s Twitter feed, the outages started last night with a few thousand customers and increased as the night wore on.
“Crews continue to assess damages to equipment and make repairs to customers impacted by the snow storm in Laramie, WY.,” they said.

The Laramie Police Department posted photos last night of heavy tree branches fallen on roads.
WYDOT closed Interstate 80 between Laramie and Cheyenne last night. As of 8:30 it is expected to reopen in the next couple of hours.
