CASPER, Wyo — The National Weather Service (NWS) is forecasting below freezing temps overnight Saturday into Sunday as a strong cold front crosses the State.
Snow accumulations are expected across the northeastern portions and into the southeast. 6-12 inches of snow could accumulate in the Bighorn mountains.
Lusk could see 2-3 inches of accumulation, with less than an inch projected around Douglas, Wheatland, and Torrington. 1-2 inches are expected in the Medicine Bow National Forest, further helping crews to contain the Mullen Fire.

Casper sees a slight chance of rain and snow showers before 7:00 pm Saturday night, with an overnight low around 25. The chance of precipitation is 30%.
