CASPER, Wyo. — The National Weather Service in Riverton says that western Wyoming mountains are expected to see 3-5 inches of snow accumulation between Wednesday and Wednesday night.
Southwestern areas of Yellowstone National Park and the northern Tetons are expected to see higher snowfall accumulations.
The Jackson Valley is expected to see 1-3 inches of snow accumulation.

Snow showers are expected to begin Wednesday afternoon and continue into the night.
“The steadiest snow is expected from late afternoon into the evening,” the NWS in Riverton says. “Motorists should be alert for rapid changes in visibility in snow, as well as slick and snow covered roads.”
“Exercise caution when traveling through Teton and Togwotee Passes. Those planning outdoor activities should be prepared for cold weather and snow.”
