PHOTOS: Casper chills under minus 15 degree temps during bitter cold snap early Friday

CASPER, Wyo. – Brutally cold weather is blanketing much of the state as an Arctic mass slowly moves through this week.

According to the National Weather Service in Riverton, Friday’s nigh temperature is expected to peak at just minus 10 degrees, after a low of minus 15 degrees. Wind chill values will be a dangerously low minus 40 degrees.

Casper isn’t expected to have a high temperature above zero degrees until Monday as the air moves south.
